Cross‑Device Resume Expands to More Apps and Phones

The latest patch extends the Cross‑Device Resume feature to include Spotify playback, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and browsing sessions from the Vivo Browser app. Users with Honor, Oppo, Samsung, Vivo, or Xiaomi devices can now continue working on online files opened via the Copilot app, making seamless transitions across platforms easier than ever.

Narrator Gains Granular Customization

Microsoft’s screen reader, Narrator, now offers more precise control. Users can adjust which on‑screen controls are announced, select the details spoken, and define the order in which information is read aloud, improving accessibility for a broader audience.

Device Information Card Relocated for Faster Access

A quality‑of‑life tweak moves the Device information card from the bottom of the System page to the Home tab in Settings. This change lets users quickly view key system specs—such as processor details—without navigating through multiple screens.

AI‑Powered Settings Assistant Gets New Language Support

The on‑device AI assistant in the Windows 11 Settings menu now understands additional languages, including German, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Italian, and Simplified Chinese. Users can ask natural‑language queries to find and modify settings in their preferred language.
