The three companies announced a partnership to create a fleet of robotaxis built on Mercedes’ S‑Class platform, powered by Nvidia’s DRIVE AV software and integrated with Uber’s ride‑hailing network.

Anders Bell, Volvo’s chief engineering and technology officer, emphasized that the car should “fit into your digital life, not force you to upend it.” This stance preserves the convenience of familiar smartphone apps for navigation, music, and communication.
