New Earbuds from Sony
Sony is launching a new audio product on January 21. It looks like we'll get to see the new LinkBuds earbuds. The event will start at 4PM UTC and you can watch it live on YouTube.
What to Expect
The teaser doesn't show the product clearly, but we can see that the earbuds are attached around the ear. The tagline 'Discover a new form of listening' suggests that these earbuds will have a different design.
It seems that Sony will launch the LinkBuds Clip (WF-LC900) with an open-ear design. This means the buds will attach around the earlobe.
Features
- Adaptive volume control
- 360 Reality Audio support
- Background music effect
- Dual microphones
- AI noise reduction for calls
- Bone conduction sensors
- 10-band EQ customization in the Sony app
- Simultaneous connection to two devices
- IPX4 splash-proof design
These earbuds will come in four colors: Black, Beige, Sage, and Lavender. They are expected to cost $230/€200.
The earbuds will give you 9 hours of playback, and the case will give you an extra 28 hours. That's a total of 37 hours!
