New Gorilla Glass for Galaxy S26 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a new generation of Gorilla Glass, according to leaker Ice Universe on X. This new generation Gorilla Glass has ultra-high strength and eliminates the need for tempered glass protectors.
What Else is New?
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will also feature an anti-reflective coating and new screen privacy technology. Samsung is targeting the reasons users use screen protectors and baking those features into the phone itself.
Upgrades from Predecessor
The Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with Gorilla Armor 2, but it's not clear if Samsung will build on that or adopt a new branding for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. One thing is certain - the display is getting a major upgrade.
