Overview
The Galaxy S26 family arrives with a clear emphasis on AI integration while retaining much of the hardware design from the S25 series. Samsung plans to unveil the lineup on 25 February 2026.
Design & Build
All three models feature Gorilla Armor 2 protection and share a sleek aluminum frame. Dimensions and weight increase slightly with size:

- S26+ – 158.4 × 75.8 × 7.3 mm, ~190 g
- S26 Ultra – 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.9 mm, 214 g
Colour options include White, Blue, Black and Purple.
Display
The displays remain unchanged from the S25 series, offering identical size, resolution and refresh‑rate across the lineup, protected by Gorilla Armor 2.
Performance
• Europe: Exynos 2600 SoC powers the S26 and S26+.
• Global (including Ultra): Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy with over‑clocked Prime cores.
• RAM: 12 GB on S26 / S26+, up to 16 GB on Ultra (1 TB storage variant).
• Storage: 256 GB base for S26, 512 GB/1 TB options for the others.
Camera System
All models share a 12 MP front camera (f/2.2, PDAF). Rear cameras differ:
- S26 / S26+: 50 MP main (f/1.8, 1/1.56"), 10 MP 3× telephoto (f/2.4, 1/3.94"), 12 MP ultrawide (f/2.2).

- S26+ – 4 900 mAh, 45 W wired charging.
- S26 Ultra – 5 000 mAh, 60 W wired charging.
All models support wireless charging but lack Qi 2.0 magnetic alignment.
Connectivity & Sensors
Features include 5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB‑C, dual‑SIM (nano/eSIM), and a suite of sensors (gyro, accelerometer, barometer, fingerprint, proximity, etc.). Satellite navigation supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BDS.
Software & AI Features
Samsung promises deeper AI integration across the UI, camera processing, and battery optimisation, leveraging the new Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips.
