Celebrating Six Years of GeForce NOW

Launched in February 2020 as the world entered the COVID‑19 pandemic, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud‑gaming service has grown into a flagship platform for playing PC titles on virtually any device. Over the past six years the service has continuously upgraded its backend—most recently with the RTX Blackwell hardware refresh—to deliver smoother performance and higher visual fidelity.

Milestone: Over One Billion Hours Streamed

To mark the anniversary, NVIDIA announced that GeForce NOW users have collectively streamed more than one billion hours of gameplay. The achievement underscores the platform’s appeal, especially amid ongoing memory‑chip shortages that push more gamers toward cloud solutions.
