Overview

The Nubia RedMagic 11 Air aims to be the most portable entry in the RedMagic lineup, offering a thin, lightweight chassis without sacrificing the core gaming features that define the brand.

Design & Build

At roughly 190 g, the 11 Air is noticeably lighter than its predecessors while retaining the signature translucent back panel and a built‑in active cooling fan that keeps temperatures in check during intense sessions.

Display

The device adopts the RedMagic 11 Pro’s 6.85‑inch OLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother motion compared to the 120 Hz panel on the older 10 Air.

Performance

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (Gen 5), the 11 Air sits between the 10 Air’s older processor and the flagship RedMagic 11 Pro’s top‑tier chip, offering strong gaming performance and efficient power use.

Battery & Charging

A new 7,000 mAh Si/C battery replaces the previous 6,000 mAh unit, extending playtime while still supporting 80 W wired fast charging. The European retail package even includes the 80 W charger.

Gaming Features

  • Dedicated cooling fan with adjustable speed
  • AirTrigger shoulder buttons
  • Gaming‑optimized UI and performance modes

What’s in the Box

  • RedMagic 11 Air handset
  • Transparent protective case
  • USB‑A to USB‑C cable
  • Quick start guide
  • 80 W fast wired charger (EU)

Verdict

The RedMagic 11 Air proves that a gaming phone can be both slim and powerful. While it doesn’t match the raw specs of the RedMagic 11 Pro, its lighter weight, upgraded display, stronger chipset, and larger battery make it an attractive, more affordable option for mobile gamers on the go.
