The Musicboard app experienced a temporary server downtime that has now been quickly fixed. The team is collaborating with the Google Play team to restore the app’s listing. The app remains live and will not be shut down without a respectful timeline and official communication for its users.
Community Response
Despite the outage, the app’s small but devoted user base continues to support each other. On Reddit, users are recommending alternative services and offering mutual assistance while awaiting further updates.
Founders and Their Other Ventures
Musicboard was founded by Johannes Vermandois and Erik Heimer. Both founders are active in other AI‑focused projects:
- Frank AI – an AI application that was slated for acquisition by Freedom Holdings, Inc., but the letter of intent was terminated in September 2024.
- Helm – an AI therapist app published by Dreamsands, Inc., the same company that distributes Frank AI on the App Store.
