What's Going On With the Galaxy S26 Series?
Is it true that Samsung canceled the Galaxy S26 Edge and replaced it with the Galaxy S26+?
Apparently, yes, but is this decision really that surprising? The company is now rushing to finish the S26+, but
will it be ready on time? Insiders say Samsung was initially planning to use a new display panel on the S26+, but then changed its mind. So, the S26+ will use a similar panel to the Galaxy S25+.
But What About the Other Models?
The vanilla Galaxy S26 is getting a new display, which will be 6.27 inches, slightly bigger than the Galaxy S25. But is this really an upgrade? Maybe the S26 Edge panel would have been bigger, or maybe it would have had other features. We may never know.

- Production targets are 3.6 million Ultras, 700,000 vanilla phones, and 600,000 Plus models
- These targets will be adjusted in February
