Changes in Google Play Store
Google has been updating Android and its first-party apps with Material 3 Expressive. The Google Play Store is the latest app to get a facelift, with new download and loading animations.
New Animations
The new animations include crinkled rings wrapped around app icons during downloads and a new loading indicator on the Downloads page. These changes are part of Google's newer design language.
Rollout
The changes are rolling out gradually, and not all users have them yet. If you're not seeing the new animations, it's likely because the rollout is staged and may take weeks or months to complete.
