New Feature Alert: Delete Incident Reports

Google Maps is testing a new feature that lets users delete their incident reports. This is a big change, as currently, users have no control over the reports they submit. The new feature, found in Google Maps v26.04.01, will allow users to delete all their contributed reports.

How it Works

Once you select the option, all live contributions from you will no longer be associated with your account and will be deleted when they expire. However, you can't delete select reports yet - it's all or nothing.

Other Changes

Google is also updating the profile header in the Contribute tab. The new header has a harmonized color scheme, but some users might find it too bland. The Bio input box will only appear when you haven't added a bio yet.
