One‑minute review

Centr is a celebrity‑backed, all‑in‑one fitness platform that blends strength training, cardio, mindfulness and nutrition. It’s easy to navigate, offers detailed guidance and built‑in rest‑day planning, but its subscription price is considerably higher than most rivals.

Features

  • Wide variety of programs, including equipment‑free options
  • Mindfulness sessions and guided meditations
  • Recipe library and nutrition guidance
  • Rest‑day and long‑term regimen planning
  • High‑quality video tutorials with step‑by‑step instructions

Pros

  • Holistic approach covering workout, mind and food
  • Backed by Chris Hemsworth, adding credibility and motivation
  • Intuitive interface that’s easier to use than many competitors
  • Detailed instructions make workouts easy to follow
  • Integrates rest days for sustainable muscle growth

Cons

  • Premium price – roughly twice the cost of apps like PUSH or Fitbod
  • No body‑scan or AI‑generated workout customization
  • Primarily focused on iOS/Android; web version is limited to recipe browsing

Pricing

Centr costs about $29.99 per month or $239.99 per year, placing it at the high end of the market.

Should I buy?

If you want a single app that handles workouts, mindfulness and nutrition and you’re comfortable paying a premium, Centr is a solid choice. Budget‑focused users or those only interested in weight‑lifting may find better value with Fitbod or PUSH.

How we tested

We used Centr for three weeks, training on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and later an iPhone 17 Pro Max. The web interface was used for recipe browsing. The app’s performance, content quality and usability were evaluated throughout the period.

Also consider

  • Fitbod – strong focus on weight‑training with extensive tracking features
  • PUSH – progressive‑overload muscle‑building app with a straightforward interface
