Overview
Activision has officially announced the second season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, slated for release on February 5, 2026. The update brings a hefty dose of fresh multiplayer content, including new maps, weapons, a battle pass, and returning fan‑favorites.
New Maps
Season 2 introduces three brand‑new 6v6 maps and one massive 20v20 arena:
- Nexus – A dream‑world setting with floating debris and partially destroyed buildings. Small enough for 2v2 play.
- Slums – A remastered version of the classic Black Ops 2 street map, preserving its iconic layout.
- Torque – Inspired by the Battle of Los Angeles memory from Black Ops 2, featuring tight interiors, open exteriors, and a twisted highway that reaches into the sky.
- Mission: Peak – A colossal 20v20 skirmish map designed for massive, chaotic battles.
Returning Maps
Fans will also see the return of two Black Ops 6 maps:
- Grind
- Firing Range
New Weapons
The season launches with four new weapons, followed by three additional guns as the season progresses:
- Rev-46 SMG
- EGRT-17 Assault Rifle
- GDL Havoc Grenade Launcher
- H311‑SAW (buzzsaw)
- SG‑12 Automatic Shotgun (later)
- Voyak KT‑3 Assault Rifle (later)
- Swordfish A1 Marksman Rifle (later)
Each weapon comes with its own set of compatible attachments, allowing deep customization.
