Display Brightness and Durability

The ExpertBook Ultra’s panel reaches a peak brightness of 1,400 nits, providing clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Asus applied Corning Gorilla Matte to reduce glare by up to 80 % and protected the glass with Corning Gorilla Victus for extra durability and scratch resistance.

Audio Performance

Listening to jazz and lo‑fi hip‑hop tracks reveals exceptional instrument separation. Drums, piano, and occasional trumpets each occupy their own space in the soundstage, delivering a balanced audio experience that carries across the room without distortion, even allowing dialogue to be heard clearly from 20 feet away.

Cooling System – ExpertCool Pro

Laptops this thin that house high‑end hardware often run hot. Asus equipped the ExpertBook Ultra with the ExpertCool Pro system, an advanced cooling solution that uses three air outlets to increase internal air pressure, keeping the device effortlessly cool under load.

Launch Timeline and Options

The ExpertBook Ultra with the Intel Core Ultra X7 CPU is slated to launch in April 2026, with pre‑orders opening in the first quarter of 2026. Two color options will be available: Morn Grey and Jet Fog (black). A second model featuring the more powerful Intel Core Ultra X9 processor is expected later in Q2 2026.
